Who? Children ages 12 to 36 months (flexible), with an adult, wanting to have fun!
Course Description: Interactive music classes for tots (and parent/caregiver) include songs, movement and instrument play across a 6 week course. Content was developed using elements from John Feierabend’s approach. His focus on the use of folk music and its transcending cultural qualities help to impart a sense of community.
Falls View Academy’s location, in historical Honeoye Falls and its Seneca Nation heritage, helps further reinforce the role of music and community. This course helps Falls View Academy meet our goals of facilitating success through growth across a diverse set of outcomes, in this case, through music.
