College Readiness
As your child prepares for the next phase in his/her educational journey after high school, FVA can offer a holistic approach to college readiness, focusing on academic, social, and financial needs. We have developed College Readiness packages for freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors. We also provide individual services for interview and application preparation and college continuance for the student athlete, musician or artist.
Enrichment
If your child has strong abilities or interest and needs to be challenged, we will provide specialized enrichment classes designed to meet his or her needs.
Test Preparation
FVA offers 1:1 test prep or small group instruction to better prepare your child for the PSAT, SAT, AP, ACT, Regents, and the NYS assessments. With our combined wealth of experience in both content and assessment construction, we will work with your child to ensure he/she is fully prepared for the challenges of standardized exams.
Assessments
FVA has designed assessments which are aligned with the NYS standards at each grade level. If you have concerns about your child’s levels or abilities, we can assess and help give some direction for remediation or enrichment.
